I feel
Like I always have to get you to convince me I’m loved and can see a future with me..outside I pretend like the words are enough but inside my feelings are hurt that I have to paint the picture instead of you seeing it for yourself. I wish I was the girl you see the future with instead of forcing myself in. I keep planting the seeds and nurturing the soil but alas nothing has grown, no fruits of my labor to show. Just a fictious ficus that only I seem to acknowledge. The days and weeks and months and years go by without anything to show. I feel stuck like your feet buried in the sand with the waves pulling you in deeper out to sea. Drowning not knowing what to shout to save you from drifting further. Motionless and moving all at once with no participation from either party. Where will I end up floating?
